Operations Coordinator

The Operations Coordinator supports and coordinates the daily operations of the Center for Innovative Genomics (CIG), the genomics diagnostic program within the Precision Medicine Institute, which integrates clinical laboratory services, bioinformatics, research, and innovation to deliver genomic insights into patient care and advance data-driven discovery. This role partners with program leadership and managers to develop, implement, and manage cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and efficient execution across multiple program units. The Coordinator facilitates project coordination, tracks key deliverables, supports communication across stakeholders, and helps operationalize initiatives that enhance clinical integration, expand patient access to genomic services, and strengthen the program’s data and partnership capabilities, while also coordinating key program events and providing operational and administrative support to leadership as needed.

Job Status: Full time, 40 hours per week.
Shift: Day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, Hybrid

 

  1. Utilizes, allocates, and manages resources to meet department, project, initiative and/or program needs.

  2. Acts as a liaison and first point of contact with internal and external stakeholders.

  3. Organizes and establishes meetings on regular basis with designated individuals impacted by the program, initiative and/or project to foster positive relationships and gather continuous feedback.

  4. Provides administrative support by planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operational activities of the program, project and/or initiative.

  5. Utilizes a variety of technologies, including databases and spreadsheets, to track and monitor outcomes, financials, data, and other information.

  6. Compiles data and prepares reports and presentations; and participates in the communication of program, initiative, or project status and progress.

  7. Assists in the development of short and long term plans and strategies for programs, monitors progress, assures adherence and evaluates performance.

  8. Assists in the design of performance objectives and implements and monitors programming to meet desired outcomes.

  9. Assists with the development and facilitation of training to address team member needs and identify relevant updates when needed. 

  10. Assists with the development of outreach plan(s) according to program needs and capacity.

 

Minimum Qualifications

•    EDUCATION – High school diploma or equivalent. 
•    EXPERIENCE – Two years of experience coordinating and supporting programs. 
•    EQUIVALENCY – An Associate or higher degree, in a related field, may substitute for the experience requirements on a year for year basis.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $24.48 to $36.72
