Student placement
Children’s Colorado partners with accredited higher education academic institutions to provide applied learning opportunities for students enrolled in technical, undergraduate, graduate and advanced practice degree programs with whom we hold active affiliation contracts. Student placements for clinical rotations, practicums and externships are coordinated through our centralized student placement program. Students are prohibited from reaching out to individual sites or preceptors directly.
All student placements are structured in accordance with clinical learning requirements toward degree completion.

Children’s Colorado team members can speak to student groups about their career virtually or in-person and provide background on their career path. Providers are happy to discuss their day-to-day work tasks, education required for the career and recommendations for someone who would like to work in the industry.
