Children's Hospital Colorado Administrative Fellowship

The Children's Hospital Colorado Administrative Fellowship is a one-year training program for students graduating with a master’s degree in health administration and a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight and practical experience in the complexities of working in a healthcare organization.

Children’s Colorado is committed to developing the pediatric healthcare workforce by providing educational and leadership opportunities to students ready to pursue a career in healthcare administration. Through interaction with key leaders, participation in management meetings and hands-on project experience, fellows apply their classroom learnings in a real-world context.

The fellow reports directly to the vice president of ambulatory services and chief strategy officer, and they have mentoring opportunities with other senior-level executives. Fellows participate in projects and shadowing rotations customized to their interests, as well as the needs of the senior management team, and they leave our program with crucial foundational knowledge and tools that will support them in their career aspirations.

"I am so grateful for the invaluable relationships I formed with influential leaders across the organization that are still intact today.
Rudy Lindsey, vice president of service lines at Children's Hospital Colorado, Fellow 2011-2012
