She is amazing and caring. Easy to talk to
We felt that the doctor took excellent care to make provide us a full explanation of medical options - including their effect, side effects and possible other issues. We had two issues that are of concern. The first is that the psychological assessment and readiness seemed to be completely separate from the medical provision of services. That was a little unusual. We had an intake interview that delved more deeply into the child's world, psyche and concerns. That said - those issues didn't appear to make their way into the discussion with the physician. We felt that there was a disconnect, in that the medical options were given without reference to readiness in our case. We know now that there is a readiness process. Our child came away understanding the readiness process must take place - but has some frustration created by the perception that the medical options seemed to be available and the readiness process is perceived as a hurdle to be overcome rather than an integral part of the process.
Thank you for the care I received. They explained things about my daughter and I thank you. Yes, they treated me very well.
We are very, very grateful that Dr. Buenaventura and the TRU Center are taking patients from outside of the state of Colorado.
Whole experience was great
True center is life saving for my child. I am just very disappointed that Children's has scrubbed all info from their website regarding this service even in a supportive state as Colorado
I appreciate the support
The entire care team provided an amazing experience and were so kind. They all even wrote a heartfelt message for our kiddo.
you
The physician was very nice, however, having been a previous patient in the endocrinology department, I thought she was not as up to speed on our child's previous records as could have been since the appointment was scheduled three months out.
We would have liked to have had more information regarding the disease during our visit or some resources to take home to read about the disease following our visit.
We had a very pleasant experience and came away with a great plan to move forward.
The Dr was very knowledgeable and explained everything in an appropriate manner. She empathetic and supportive.
Professionalism and politeness from every employee we encountered including the lovely gentleman who pointed us in the right direction.
Kind, sensitive., knowledgeable and able to explain medical information in a way we could all understand. Very calm easy comforting presence for both our child and us. Her sensitivity and empathy was so appreciated, she had a perfect balance of expertise and compassion.
