About our pediatric heat-related illness clinical pathways

Heat-related illness clinical pathways offer diagnostic tools and best practice recommendations for patients with suspected heat-related illness, from mild to severe. They were created by our multidisciplinary team of content experts (including pediatric emergency medicine physicians and nurses) and process improvement professionals. Our teams reviewed available published literature, and integrated local expert opinion when necessary.

These pathways offer a standardized approach to recognition, diagnosis and management of heat- related illness.

The Agile MD format for these clinical pathways aims at optimizing evidence-based care for patients while improving workflow and enhancing the care team dynamic.
