Physician Relations

The physician relations department helps facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between referring healthcare providers and Children's Hospital Colorado. Our team strives to ensure that patients, patient families and providers can obtain the best care possible despite barriers that may exist. To maintain quality two-way communication, we have a personalized approach that includes designating a physician relations representative to your practice. 

Some of the ways we help include:

  • Serving as a resource for referrals and answering general questions 
  • Responding to provider concerns about services at Children’s Colorado and providing timely solutions 
  • Acting as a resource for trends in healthcare 
  • Visiting offices to educate providers on Children’s resources, including in-person and virtual outreach visits 
  • Providing educational programs featuring Children’s Colorado experts, including:

  • Developing useful, informative Children’s Colorado resources like Practice Update and the Directory of Services
